Earlier today, the bill sponsored by Hon. Dozie Nwankwo, member representing Dunukofia/Njikoka/Anaocha Federal Constituency, which seeks to establish a federal college of Agriculture (technical), in Enugwu-Ugwu, passed the House of Representatives' third reading during plenary.
The bill when passed to law shall boast academic development and excellence, as it will provide full-time courses, teaching instructions and training in agricultural technology, and as well carry out its due administration and management and other related matters.
According to Hon. Nwankwo, the bill, particular is significant.
“Like all other bills, I believe this is particularly significant because it exemplifies my goals and vision for the Anaocha/Njikoka/Dunukofia constituency and beyond, which include fostering self-reliance, developing the agricultural sector, and establishing a solid educational foundation”, he stated.
“I'll keep bringing up the fact that there aren't many chances for young people who want to pursue further education, particularly in the fields of agricultural research and technology. With the institution in place, the populace is guaranteed access to solutions as the college will usher in a new era for the state's agricultural industry”, he enthused.
Onyendozi finally assured of looking forward to a good finish with bill being accented to and passed into law.
