Thomas Tuchel says midfielder is now ‘back in a good shape and in full confidence’
Chelsea heavily rely on goal scorers from all over the pitch in the last couple of seasons, rather than relying on one particular forward more than the rest.
Although the likes of Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku should be scoring more, it is refreshing to see that we can get goals from all over the park should we need to.

In fact, our joint top scorers across all competitions so far this season is Jorginho and Mason Mount. Now of course we know Jorginho takes penalties, but Mount’s 6 goals so far this season is a good return and he will be hoping to at least double that by the time the season ends, and who would bet against this?
He’s been stepping up a lot again recently and grabbed a couple of goals in recent matches, and Thomas Tuchel declares that he is now ‘back in good shape and in full confidence’, as he tells the Chelsea website.
We rely on him because he plays in an offensive position,” said the boss.
“He needs to be decisive and assist and score, because he has the technique, the ability and the movement to do so. It’s about timing, acceleration and knowing where and when to arrive in the box.
“It’s about connections between Reece and him most of the time, depending on which side he plays. We cannot be surprised that sometimes in careers of young players they have difficult moments. That’s why they are young players, and why their careers are at the beginning and not the end.
“The thing is to take care of him, guide him through these moments, to push him and trust him with what we do,’ added Tuchel
Players always want to play, now he is back in a good shape and in full confidence, and with a bit of luck he will be the guy he can be.”
